American Standard Window Film (ASWF) is a division of Erickson International, LLC. Its company page describes a Las Vegas manufacturing facility, while the official site says its automotive, residential and commercial window films come from the Las Vegas factory and lists 3135 Marco Street as its headquarters and factory-direct address. Automotive tint families
The current automotive catalogue separates non-metalized, non-reflective films; IR-performance films; and the dyed, metallized Performer range. The April 2026 version of its specification sheet makes the grade label, measured visible-light transmission (VLT), solar energy rejected and thickness separate fields. Automotive specifications

The same grade number does not guarantee the same VLT. For the three IR-performance rows above, the sheet lists two wavelength-specific IR columns: Excel IRP 35 is 78% at 0.78–2.5 and 83% at 0.9–1.0; Dimension IRP 35 is 90% and 94%; Carbon Ultra IR 35 is 93% and 90%. The sheet does not provide units in those column labels, so they should not be recast as a different wavelength basis.
ASWF says the tested materials were applied to 1/4-inch clear glass under industry-standard tests and that the figures are for comparison. It does not name the formal standard, instrument or complete glass assembly. Use the table as catalogue data rather than a prediction for a particular vehicle. Automotive warranty terms depend on the series
The May 2026 warranty covers professionally installed film from an ASWF-authorized installer. It lists limited lifetime terms while the original customer owns the vehicle for several named families, but labels Classic Pro as a one-year limited warranty while the same sentence also says coverage lasts while the original customer owns the vehicle. Because that wording conflicts, confirm the applicable Classic Pro term in writing. Claims require the completed card, proof of purchase and master roll numbers. Guardian is the separate paint-protection range
Guardian is ASWF’s body PPF range. The current page lists Guardian and Guardian Matte at 8 mil, Guardian Classic at 7.5 mil and Guardian S at 6.5 mil. It displays warranty periods of 10, 10, 7 and 5 years respectively, while warning that duration and coverage vary by geography. The linked Guardian warranty is a generic ten-year limited document for bubbling, cracking or yellowing. It is nontransferable, applies to the original purchaser, requires ASWF-certified installation, and covers replacement product without reinstallation labour. Accident or impact, harsh chemicals, normal wear and improper maintenance are excluded; headlight installations are not covered.
