Maxpro Window Films is the brand of Maxpro Manufacturing, LLC, a U.S. film manufacturer founded in 2010 and headquartered in Whiteville, North Carolina. On 21 May 2026, ORAFOL announced its acquisition of the company. Maxpro’s catalogue spans automotive tint, architectural films and paint protection, with different products for glass and painted body panels.
Compare the grade, not just the series name
Carbon Extreme is described as a carbon-particle film without dyes or metal. Max Cool IR and Max IR are nano-ceramic options with a black appearance. All three product tables list two-ply, 1.5 mil construction, so their published solar figures offer a more useful distinction than thickness alone.

The grade label and visible-light transmission (VLT) are not always identical: the two ceramic “35” grades list 36% and 34%. Total solar energy rejected (TSER) is a different metric from infrared rejection. The ceramic tables also provide IRER and SSIR columns marked 780–2500 nm; that wavelength range is not stated for the separate “IR Rejection” row.
These product pages do not identify reference glass or a test standard for the tables. Read them as the manufacturer’s published comparison, rather than a prediction for a particular vehicle. Keep the series-specific warranty details
Maxpro’s English-language automotive warranty covers professionally installed film in the three featured ranges for listed manufacturing defects while the original customer owns the vehicle. XP and XPP instead have a three-year term from installation. These warranties are nontransferable, and roll numbers are required.
The mailed registration card must be returned within 30 days of installation; the installing dealer can also register online. Keep the card and sales receipt. For initial care, the terms say to leave windows raised for five days and avoid washing the film for 30 days, then use mild soap and a soft cloth or synthetic sponge.
A separate range for painted surfaces
The Max Armor paint-protection catalogue includes Gloss, Matte and Black options. These address the bodywork’s finish, while the tint ranges above concern glass. Choose the surface and appearance first, and use the corresponding product’s care and warranty terms.
