NAN YA ICE COOL is Nan Ya Plastics Corporation’s Taiwan solar-control window-film brand. Its company page traces the company’s heat-insulating PET-film work to 1999. The official advantages page says the full ICE COOL range is made at Nan Ya’s Xingang plant in Taiwan, where it describes a Class 1,000 cleanroom production line. The plant is also listed in the factory atlas.
Current automotive range
The current catalogue separates four automotive families. TOUGH includes ceramic-labelled grades and two magnetron-sputtered grades; GT spans published VLT values from 9% to 78%; VICTOR has three grades; and A9 has six grades from N-10 through N-70. The same catalogue separately lists Y- and F-series architectural films and the NX-50 optical safety film.

These are the labels and values on the individual product pages. Their heat figure is called total radiant-heat rejection and is explicitly tied to 400–1100 nm; it is not labelled TSER. N-30 is listed at 1.5 mil and G-35 at 2 mil, while both pages give 5% inside and 6% outside reflectance. The pages do not identify reference glass, a formal test standard or an instrument. N-30 also lists 95% infrared rejection at 780–2500 nm, while G-35 lists 60% without a wavelength range, so those two IR figures are not a like-for-like comparison. Warranty and initial care
The official warranty page lists six years for automotive film, ten years for architectural film and three years for safety film, while stating that the customer’s warranty card controls the actual coverage. It describes providing new film of the same model for covered cracking, peeling or deformation. Installation through an approved dealer and possession of the warranty card are conditions; improper use or maintenance, unapproved installation, human-caused damage and force majeure are excluded. For newly installed automotive film, the page says not to operate the windows for five days, not to wash the film or glass with water for 7–10 days, and not to use the rear-window defroster for 20 days. Routine cleaning should use water with a soft cloth or sponge rather than rough pads or strongly corrosive solvents.
