Nanofilm is a Korean window-film brand developed by Nanofilm Co., Ltd. Its company introduction says the company was established in 2003. Its automotive catalogue offers several distinct colours and reflection levels, alongside published solar-control specifications.
Choose the finish, then the grade
NANO CERAMIC is described as emerald-coloured and made using sputtering. AEGIS GR combines a green reflective appearance with the company’s stated sputtering and nano-ceramic technologies. These names describe different catalogue options; the product pages’ stated technologies are more useful than treating “ceramic” as a complete material specification.
NF9R offers a charcoal finish and also lists sputtering, while NF9 is presented as a low-reflection black film. At the grades below, NF930R lists 8% visible-light reflectance (VLR), compared with 5% for NF935. Those grades have different light transmission, so compare the finish and the exact grade together.
Compare the published figures
The following selection spans 27–35% visible-light transmission (VLT). The two 27% entries offer a comparison at the same published transmission; NF9R and NF9 provide nearby alternatives. TSER is total solar energy rejection, a separate column from the infrared-rejection figure on Nanofilm’s pages.

Nanofilm says these figures are calculated using an NFRC method, with possible variation of up to ±5% depending on measurement conditions. It also warns that results can differ on solar-control vehicle glass. The pages do not specify a reference-glass thickness or an infrared wavelength range. Treat the figures as the manufacturer’s comparison data, and use the tint-specification guide when comparing another brand’s table.
Keep the warranty card
The public warranty terms apply within South Korea to installations by recognized dealers or outlets and require the issued warranty card. Coverage starts on the installation date and lasts for the period printed on that card; the terms list replacement with the same product for covered film defects. The card is nontransferable and cannot be reissued if lost. Damage from misuse or failure to follow care instructions is excluded. For initial care, Nanofilm says to keep windows raised for 48 hours and avoid cleaning the glass or using the defroster for seven days.
