2815GF is a transparent, glossy polyurethane film that ORAFOL describes as self-healing and resistant to UV exposure. Its listed automotive applications include hoods, fenders, bumpers and door edges. It provides a starting point for comparing the clear films in this regional range.
2815GF+ has a transparent gloss finish and a hydrophobic topcoat described as a lotus effect. ORAFOL lists self-healing properties and chemical resistance. 2815MF+ combines a transparent matte finish with a hydrophobic topcoat and self-healing properties; the manufacturer says it changes the appearance of the surface beneath it to matte. Compare a sample on your paint before choosing the finish.
270 stone guard and graphics laminates
ORAGUARD 270 serves a different brief. Its Americas technical data sheet identifies transparent gloss PVC for medium-term outdoor paint protection on flat and slightly curved surfaces, including fenders, rear bumpers and side skirts. This material distinction is useful when comparing quotations: the 270 designation does not describe the polyurethane construction of the 2815 products.
Elsewhere in the family, ORAGUARD 290 protects indoor and outdoor digital prints. A quotation that says only “ORAGUARD” therefore leaves the intended product and application unclear. Ask for the complete series name and whether the work covers painted panels or printed graphics.

The Americas pages list ten-year durability for the three unprinted 2815 films, based on vertical outdoor exposure, professional installation and proper care. Treat that stated durability separately from the warranty offered with a Korean installation. Keep the exact product, finish, panel coverage, applicable warranty document and care instructions together when comparing an installer’s proposal.
