This profile compares the Korean catalogue’s XS and 900 specifications; product names and figures should be matched to the exact range in a quotation.
XS and 900: compare the actual grade
The XS page lists Midnight Blue colour and 2 mil thickness. The 900 page lists Arctic Charcoal and 1.5 mil. These provide concrete differences to consider alongside the published light-transmission and solar-energy figures.

VLT is visible light transmittance; TSER is total solar energy rejection. Read the VLT column rather than treating the shade name as an exact percentage: RIMAC 900-35 is listed at 41% VLT, while XS – 50 is listed at 49%. For a relatively light option, the two 50 grades publish 57% and 56% TSER, respectively, alongside their different VLT values.
The product tables do not identify the reference glass or an optical test standard. Request a current specification with the test basis before comparing these figures with another brand or a vehicle’s fitted glass. The pages also publish IRC values of 98% for XS and 91% for 900 without stating the measured wavelength range; those percentages should not be read as TSER. Paint protection is a separate selection
The Korean catalogue also describes RIMAC PPF using Argotec TPU, with self-healing and water-repellent coating claims. This is the catalogue’s material description for paint protection. For a PPF quotation, specify the finish, installed film thickness and covered panels separately from the window-tint grade.
